Announcing the 2026 Pharmaceutical Care Lyceum January 28-30, 2026 Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, Sandstone, MN 55072
Prescribing New Heights
This year’s theme is inspired by the novel Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer and the themes that translate directly to pharmaceutical care. Everyone has their Mt. Everest, whether you are a resident and working on your year-long project, a seasoned
pharmacist working to implement a new initiative, an organization advocating for provider status, someone looking for a career change or just trying to figure how to balance work and home life, or a certain feeling to want at the end of day/week/year.
What is it you need to summit your Mt. Everest?
The Pharmaceutical Care Lyceum is a unique, three day, all-teach all-learn conference held in a simplistic retreat-like environment nestled in the natural winter wonderland
of east-central Minnesota. The Pharmaceutical Care Lyceum is known for creating an environment for pharmacy professionals to be actively engaged, open and prepared to share ideas, challenge current practice, and envision what is possible. This is
achieved through discussion-based sessions, active learning groups, and an environment that is relaxed allowing for creativity.
Each attendee (or group) is required to submit a session they would like to present with their application. These engaging professional sessions are dovetailed with opportunities to connect with nature and be active.
The purpose of the Pharmaceutical
Care Lyceum is to illuminate issues related to the practice of pharmaceutical care, foster collegiality among students, faculty and practitioners, and to invigorate the practice as the cornerstone of pharmacy. The 2026 Pharmaceutical Care Lyceum will
provide an opportunity to reflect, collaborate, and develop next steps toward making it to the top (or simply the next step) of your Mt. Everest all the while being 29,000 feet closer to ground.
