Participate in a Study to Reduce Barriers to Vaccination
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacists in only nine states were permitted to prescribe and administer all Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended vaccinations and few pharmacies participated in federal- and state-supported immunization programs that support those at greatest need [e.g., the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program]. Pharmacists' help is needed to identify barriers pharmacists and pharmacies face participating in federal- and state-supported immunization programs such as the VFC Program.
By participating in this brief, voluntary research survey, you will help identify barriers to program participation and prioritize strategies to address these barriers. The survey will take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete and requires the participant to be able to speak to current immunization efforts, expansion of vaccination services and related challenges. A team from Idaho State University hopes to use these survey results to provide resources to pharmacists and professional organizations like yours. Therefore, they would like to email you a follow-up survey again in 2 years to check on your progress. Please take the survey by September 19, 2022.
