From Minnesota Department of Health website, accessed Jan. 19: Minnesota is launching a community COVID-19 vaccine pilot program, partnering with local public health and school districts, to place nine pilot sites across the state. These pilot sites will initially serve adults 65 years of age or older and educators (prekindergarten through grade 12), school staff, and child care workers. As of Jan. 19, Minnesotans age 65 and older can make an appointment to receive the vaccine at one of the nine sites. On the first day, volume on the vaccine registration page was extremely high.
