A Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners (JCPP) Workgroup, comprised of 13 national pharmacy organizations is seeking feedback on proposed revisions to the pharmacy profession’s definition of “Medication Therapy Management.” Specifically, JCPP is requesting comments on the proposed draft definition, a proposed new term for the definition, and supporting text promoting the value of pharmacists in delivering the spectrum of services described in the definition.
Background and rationale for the proposed changes and a brief survey for collecting feedback are available here. The survey will take 15-30 minutes to complete and responses are saved as they are entered so the survey can be completed at a later time, if necessary.
