The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation recently announced that Minnesota is one of the states that will participate in a test of the Part D Enhanced Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Model. In the memo announcing the program, Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Director – Policy and Programs Group Sheila Hanley states, “The Model is designed to test changes to the Part D program that would achieve better alignment of PDP sponsor and government financial interests, while also creating incentives for robust investment and innovation in better MTM targeting and interventions.”
