MPhA Members Write Cover Article for Minnesota Physician Magazine

From Minnesota Physician website, published Aug. 2021: Sara Massey, PharmD, MOBE; Natalie Roy, PharmD, MHealth Fairview; and Kyle Walburg, PharmD, CDCES, North Memorial Health, authored an article in the latest issue of Minnesota Physician magazine. Their article, “Telepharmacy: Improving Medication Therapy Management,” shares the benefits of telepharmacy.

The article also notes MPhA’s role in expanding pharmacy services during the pandemic through legislative action, saying in part, “The telehealth portions of the bill enhanced current language that required private and public insurers to pay the same for in-person care and telehealth. The bill allowed for remote and in-person MTM to be permanently billable.”
