From Minnesota Department of Health, Jan. 23: The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has reported the first pediatric flu death of the 2019-20 season. That brings the total deaths from influenza statewide to 31 for the season. After a few weeks when the number of new outbreaks in schools were relatively low, the third week of 2020 saw 113 new outbreaks (compared to 32 outbreaks the previous week).
