UMN College of Pharmacy Faculty on the National Stage

Kristin Janke, PhD, professor in the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems and director of the Wulling Center for Innovation and Scholarship in Pharmacy Education, will receive the 2018 Distinguished Teaching Scholar Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. This award from her peers recognizes her as a gifted teacher, scholar and academic leader.

Amy Pittenger, PharmD, MS, PhD, spoke earlier this week at the National Sex and Gender Health Education Summit. Dr. Pittenger, who is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems and director of the Interprofessional Education and Pharmacy Learning Collaborative at the College of Pharmacy, spoke about competencies in pharmacy education and interesting sex and gender health professional education.
