Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) – What You Need to Know

The DSCSA webinar will focus on dispenser requirements under the DSCSA with a focus on the complexities of the law as it relates to pharmacy. Pharmacies will learn about the record keeping requirements of the DSCSA and when pharmacies are required to generate outgoing DSCSA traceability data for their transactions. This will cover sales other than dispensing by pharmacy, “borrow/loan” and other non-dispensing activities by pharmacy will be discussed. The ability to use a third party for DSCSA records storage will be covered as well. Additionally, there are a number of exceptions to the DSCSA that will be discussed. Finally, the DSCSA changes a number of common definitions such as returns and distribution which have an impact to all participants in the supply chain including dispensers.
