Call for 2023 Annual Meeting Poster Session Call for Abstract

The Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) invites poster abstract submissions for the 2023 PQA Annual Meeting Poster Session sponsored by Pharmacy Quality Solutions (PQS). The poster session provides an opportunity for authors to highlight their efforts in quality improvement and research and for attendees to engage in insightful dialogue about the healthcare quality landscape. This year students, residents and fellows have the unique opportunity to participate as PQA has expanded the poster session to include a learner section that allows works in progress.

Submission Type

• Completed project: If a professional is the the presenting author, only completed works are accepted. Students, fellows and residents may also submit completed projects.
• Encore presentation: Original research that has already been presented at another venue or published in another format. Encore presentations are not eligible for abstract publication and must meet the submission and evaluation criteria for original abstracts.
• Work in Progress: If a student, resident or fellow is the presenting author, works in progress are acceptable. Students, residents or fellows may also submit completed projects.

Submission Category

• Research: Results of research are intended to be used by a broad audience (i.e., generalizable)
• Quality Improvement: Results of quality improvement are intended for use primarily by the entity conducting or funding the study (i.e., not generalizable)

Process and Timeline

• Call for Poster Abstracts Submission Opens: Tuesday, November 1, 2022
• Deadline for Submissions: Saturday, December 31, 2022, 11:59pm ET
• Notification: Late February 2023
