Speaker: Joshua Johnson, PharmD, BCGP
Joshua Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Biology in 2004, and then went on to obtain his PharmD from Ferris State University in Michigan in 2008. Upon graduating, he returned to Minnesota where he practiced as a community pharmacist for 8 years. In 2016 he was hired by ClearStone Solutions, an affiliate of BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota and a Part D Plan administrator, to run the 5-year CMMI Enhanced MTM Pilot on behalf of the BlueCross BlueShield Northern Plains Alliance in Part D Region 25 (IA, MN, MT, ND, NE, SD, & WY). His current role provides EMTM program design and implementation, vendor management & oversight, as well as coordination with both CMMI and the plan participant. He is a board-certified geriatric pharmacist, is currently a member of the Clinical Advisory Group for the DaVinci Project, the MTM Advisory Group for AMCP, and the Value Set Committee with the Pharmacy HIT Collaborative. Additionally, he is working with PQA to test draft measures within the EMTM program.
Registration Fees:
The cost is $25 for non-members. MPhA pharmacist members, pharmacy technician members and student members may attend at no cost.
Continuing Education:
This presentation is being submitted to the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy for Continuing Education credit approval (one hour).
To receive Board of Pharmacy credits for this program, the following must be completed:
Board of Pharmacy credit processing takes place on the 15th of each month.
